It was sold to me by a garrison member who was cleared and had trooped it, along with all the hard bits. it was listed as "unknown origin". Other hard bits are "SC" if that's correct? The weight doesn't actually bother me as it's a lot lighter than my fibreglass MLC royal guard lid! Rob, you are right about brittle - I shattered one of the corners a couple of days ago and have rebuilt it. Well, if I drop it, hey, good excuse to get a new one eh?!

Urg, that doesn't sound good. Do you think it's worth working with? I mean, it was cleared once and while I understand that has no bearing on a new submission, it would be slightly amiss if it failed due to a physical reason... and I can only improve it... (hopefully) Here's a close up of the ears, they are definetly different shapes. I feel like the left ear is the right shape, but too small. And the right ear certainly doesnt need that sharpe angle at the top. I also just found the KS website, saw their ABS, very similar yeah. Man, recast. I feel... Thanks for the help!

Hey. Rebuilding this helm with clearance in mind (note, it was already cleared before I bought it, ie with this gap) and, in the future, pathfinder. But I don't like this gap, in the photo much - but I want to be clear with myself do I have to fill it, for pathfinder? Is the gap part of the helmet? thank you

Hey guys, Was wondering if anyone can help me. I've aquired a helm, which I'm about to strip, sand and repaint but the seller didn't know what make it was. I can't see any identify marks, although the inside is lined, I didn't want to lift it up to see as I quite like it. I personally can't tell one make from the other yet I think the material is fibreglass. It's not as smooth as my tk ABS but also it's not as nice as my fibreglass RG either. Any thoughts, welcome! thank you

Hey all, I'm looking for a new balaclava - I noticed that my TK one is a bit short (usually covered by my neck seal) for my Scout. Does anyone have any recommendations for longer ones (down to the bottom of the neck I guess). EU / UK would be excellent, but USA based as well is ok. Thanks
