okay new question... Hows this look? wanted to ask if it looks good to attach the visor.

Two questions. First what did you use to seem it? Second, what color (brand/type) did you use to repaint the helmet to match again? Okay well three questions, were you able to color match to the visor so that it would not require repainting?

Okay so my helmet came in this past week, and I have noticed a few things and wanted to get someone on here's opinion. 1) Is this the right fish hook sticker? 2) The pictures on the internet (both here and 501st CRL) show the bolts as grey. The bolts (pictured below) are metal/silver, do they need to be replaced? 3) The snout greeble, came all black, if i paint it medium grey (as per 501st/Lancer CRL) will it pass muster? Thanks all. how did you sew the flap? Did you sew them together then turn them inside out? I like how crisp your edges look and am unsure what changes i need to make to make mine look similar

@maujin No problem. I got them off the BSN forums and took them to a copy shop to be blown up to the appropriate scale (which I also go from the forums). @griffin Im 5'10 which according to what Ive seen is the height of the scouts from the film.

okay so found 3 different boots at walmart, and wanted your guys opinion on them. As I am making the boots myself I plan to try for lancer status. 1st boot *I am concerned with the inset design between the to and heel* 2nd Boot *while the ridge pattern is better and has no wierd inset between the toe and heal, concerned with the two toned boot and sole* 3rd Boot *While the two-toned sole is less pronounce, still visible* what do you guys think?

One word of warning I purchased the 38 chest regular sized suit. I am pretty happy with it minus one problem. Im 5'10 and the crotch cuts the boys in half if i stand up straight. Luckily the wife is a seamstress so im just going to cut it in half and add 2 inches using black duct cloth that will be hidden by the cummerbund. But those not luck enough to have the same situation should definately consider purchasing the Longer version.

So guys this is my first Build. Doing the research I decided it was more cost effective for me to have my wife (a seamstress, who works at joanns) to do the sewing. The following Images are first of the patterns I used (found in the gallery), and of the mock up for the pouch itself. I wanted to get your opinions. First I know its a mockup made from muslin so the end product from the white duct cloth will have different properties. I was more concerned with overall apperance, deminsions etc. Thanks. Update: 14 October 12 Wife Finished the First duct cloth pouch today. I think it looks really good, and about the right size as I am 5'10. Any and all feedback is much appreciated. side view:

AH okay, After talking to alot of people, most are recommending the SC bucket, so think ill go with that.

Hi Guys, So im new to the 501st and am in the process of purchasing my first armor. I decided to go with the TB set because A) I think it looks cooler B ) I was concerned with field of vision in the TX/TK verisons. My question is which helmet should I get. My head demision at the temple is 22 1/2 inches (circumference). The forums indicate the that KS runs smaller than the SC. I don't wear contacts or glasses so that would not be an issue. However, I am unsure of what all goes inside the helmet that I might want to consider room for. Thanks, Maelstrom
