Greetings all. Thought I'd share this for all pathfinders who might be interested in a variant to the standard scout trooper. Melee focused scouts with some sort of harness and a large canister on their back

It's all good. I've got another costume I'm working on right now anyway but as soon as it's done I'd love to start on one of these. Your costume looks amazing.

Hey, all. Been absent for a while. I was looking at the CRLs and noticed there is now one for a white variant of the Kashyyyk trooper. I've been scouring the internet but can't find any pics of these guys. Has anyone built one of these or have some reference pics for this trooper?

Okay thanks. I have been talking to Jeff over at SC and I'm 99% sure that I'm going to go with the SC kit. I will probably go with basic approval for a while but upgrade it later to meet lancer status. Thanks so much guys for all your help in regards to which kit to get.

Okay after many stupid questions about the KS armor and helmet I would like to ask a couple stupid SC questions. I know a lot of you swear by SC and that their gear is great. What I want to know is if and when I order my armor what would have to be done to make it lancer approvable should I decide to go that route?

Okay. Had me worried for a moment there shout I was gonna have to learn to reshape plastic to get approved.

So would those have to be changed for basic approval or is that just for lancer?

Thanks. The more I look the more I'm starting to lean SC. Let me ask you guys this, how does the back hump connect to the back armor on the SC kit?

Yeah after looking at the two I can see some differences. The part that worries me the most about building it myself is the chest/back armor and hump. I'm reasonably sure I could put the rest together.

Okay so the SC kit will fit someone between 5'6" and 6'3". What body size will the KS fit?

Not to sound stupid but when you say cloth cover to the chest/back join what do you mean?

Thanks for the info guys. I was thinking about the SC kit but since I've never built anything like this I'm really nervous about it. I wish there were some local garrison members close to me but unfortunately they all pretty much live 3 to 4 hours away. For those that know, what are the mods that have to be done to the KS armor to make it approvable?

Hey all. I just finished acquiring the last of the soft parts for my scout and was wondering what the consensus is on the KS armor and helmet? My armor building skills are pretty much nonexistent so I was thinking of getting it prebuilt but I wanted to know what you guys thought of it. Is it okay for basic approval?

I heard back from sc and he says ht after hearing that sa isn't offering them anymore he is looking for a leather manufacturer to make gloves. He said it would be at least may though before he would be able to offer them.

Hey all. Like many of you I am searching for a pair of gloves for my scout build. While cruising the web I came across these. What do you guys think? Obviously you would have to add the suede bits bit this is about as close as I've been able to find. If they won't then I guess I'm back to waiting o. I'm 5'9" 180lbs so I guess the MC would do better for me. About how long of a wait is there on the MC?

Hey all. I'm looking for opinions on what you more experienced scouts prefer for armor and helmets between SC or MC? In terms of accuracy, ease of build, amount of time it took to receive and build quality what is better? Also does anyone know where I can get some gloves?
