New knees and Thermal Det are great!

Here is my set up outside of the armor....wrap is duck canvas and the strapping is black elastic the wrap is actually glued to the armor helping give support. Inside of armor....the black elastic is sewn into a "T" shape and attached to the chest and back across the seam

That is one of the more interesting set ups i have seen :-) Two issue that I see ( may or may not be an issue for 501st approval, used to be a GML but that was years ago): 1. the white wrapping looks really long, normally it is about 2in long 2. The black strap attaching to the shoulder looks to be just 2in velcro...my worry, especially when trooping, is that it won't give you a lot of give when moving. I would recommend 1/2 inch elastic with velcro sewed to it in order to attached the shoulder to the chest. The elastic will provide give when you move and make it more comfortable over the long haul. I would recommend wrapping with 2 in cloth and building an straps system with elastic attaching the chest and back and than to the shoulder....a "T" shape. When I am home from work I can post a picture of how i did mine if you like.

I just ordered a TD greeblie my concern was the size of the greeblie compared to the space on the SC TD....by the way here is an update of the boot soles. Any more changes or upgrades before I go out for lancer?

Can I get a critique on the boots and greeblie? Thanks!

TD Greeblies sorry bad pic...the paint is glossy and I had to resize the sculpt to fit the SC TD so it is not as tall as the actual greeblie.

So I sludged my belt...put a little too much on so it will take forever and a day to dry. Than to sand and weather. I have a high gloss clear coat I can paint on to the plastic to bring back the shine. greeblie is painted and drying. Still gotta do the boots.

So here is my finished scout. I am going to attempt Lancer this go around and have already begun to make some of the fixes needed. 1. I fixed my boot issues had seams on both boots going in the same directions. After carefully cutting away the glue I fixed it! 2. Added the extra Straps to the knees 3. ripped off the old TD greeblies and sculpted new ones based on the Endor Rebel's Rank Badge I will post up pics once the Greeblie is painted and attached. I still need to cut the soles of the boots; which brings me to my question of How. How do I cut the soles? razor? Dremel? Also I still need to fix the belt which is riveted together. Any thoughts on making it a solid belt? I was thinking about using ABS sludge (ABS shavings and acetone mixed to a sludge) to cover the rivets and blend the pieces. I figure the ABS sludge will have similar flex to the plastic and don't have to worry about a shim and it being weakened in those areas. So enough babbling and here are the pictures of my scout (pre-lancer tweaks)
