  1. Since you are slightly ahead of me at this point, I'm following along closely! Can I suggest instead of crossing the pouch straps, just connect them on the same side that they come from? Yes, they will be slightly different than the standard shore, but since we are adding them in on a model that doesn't have them at all, we can take a slight bit of liberties?
  2. Here are the new shotgun shells for the forearm with the magnets on them. The magnets were slightly larger than I wanted, and will end up hanging out slightly from below the shell... But from most angles they shouldn't be visible, and will be painted beige as well, so they won't be obtrusive.
  3. I got a couple new sets of M65 pouches, and of course one of them had more "battle damage" than expected... Crushed completely out of shape. I made up some 3D printed inserts to stretch them back to shape. Figured these would be lighter and more functional than using wood inserts. Added a hollow space and a couple dimples so that they would be easy to pull out from the pouch and be able to retrieve keys or anything else that would fit into the pouch. The .STL file is posted to Thingiverse in case anyone else would find it useful: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4668397
  4. Hi all! I'm really excited to have started working on doing an upgrade alternate for my grunt shoretrooper to a heavy! I am thinking I can maintain the current kit with the addition of a few alternate parts. I have ordered a couple new pouches and have started printing out alternate belt boxes and Pringles can. I'm thinking I can use rare earth magnets to attach the forearm shotgun shells without having to create an alternate left forearm armor. Worth trying for sure! If not, I will just get a spare and attach them on permanently. Pics will be coming along shortly I hope!
  5. Death Recon- Biker Chick's suit is the only one that is currently very close to being in production. From her posts in this thread http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showtopic=10155 (which you have already replied to...) there seems to be just a couple of hiccups before she goes into full production. Unfortunately, it's kind of a waiting game at this point... Good time to research and start on your soft parts...
  6. Heatshock... Can you review those measurements again? #4 I'd estimate closer to 3-1/2"...
  7. I'll take the plunge... Go ahead and put me down for the suit of armor. I already have the helmet (which rocks!) Thanks!
  8. Looking good Kevin! Only 15 more pieces to go! What material and thickness are you thinking you'll be using for your suits?
  9. Interested in the armor pending a couple of questions... I already have one of you helmets, and it rocks! What material and thickness is the armor? Does it include the rubber greeblies?
  10. Hehe... I feel like the SoCal Garrison KST Sales Rep! Talked to another garrison mate last night and have him sold on doing two kits with his brother! That is something like 8 troopers ready to go within a year!
