My number is officially TB-7558! Woo, official member! Now I just need my pistol and I can apply for pathfinder.
-
Yeah, I do need to do that. I'm probably going to use a bit of the same material I used for the boots, it's a white vinyl fabric. Also, I got approved! Now I'm just waiting for my number. By the way what mold of armor is that, Jim?
-
As usual, skipping ahead without posting anything- I'm DONE! http://imgur.com/a/JgRk2 The snout modification worked out ok, it looks a lot better than it would have without the extra 'grills'. We chopped up a credit card and glued them in there, then dremeled out the vertical grooves present in the film. I'd recommend doing that with the SC snout piece if you don't want to order a better one. Awaiting my approval now and after that, my number, and after THAT, my Pathfinder status.

That looks awesome. I'm planning on making a sniper from an E-11 toy and pvc piping. I'd love to do something to a nerf gun sometime though.

Making kids even happier with something IN the pouches
AdamS replied to Letha's topic in ROTJ Biker Scout HQ
I really have to make one of these. I never thought of them asking what's in the pouches! Great idea. Edit: Two of these, that is. hehe. -
Well, I'll let you know how I do it and how well it goes. I've been pretty behind on the armor stuff lately, but when I modify the pieces, I'll post pictures and such Hope your helmet arrives soon!
-
I've got the KS ones, and I'm going to be modifying them to be more screen accurate. The KS covers had black outlines, which I've shaved off, but they're still way too big, so I might just use a washer or something the right size with grey vinyl on it. As for the snout, I didn't want to order anything else just yet so I've made my own raised piece and I'm going to try and add/subtract some things from the KS snout piece to make it as much like the screen used ones as I can.

WELL, I fell off the radar for a bit there. Must have gone too deep into the woods :V I've made a bit of progress on my suit and I'd like some approval/critiquing. http://imgur.com/a/axujA#0 The helmet is still in need of padding, it sits really low and painfully on my head at the moment, (And of course it's missing it's snout and hinge-caps) the boots are just about done, and the tank topper still needs to be attached. I'm nearing completion!

Did I hear someone say TD greeblies? (Asking for info PM)
-
Looking good! What type is the helmet you'll be using for the application? I just got word that my helmet shipped. Boy am I excited.

Just got word that my helmet shipped out! Should be here in a day or two. Excited to start on it. Pictures of what I have so far tomorrow.

Lucky! I'm waiting for my email. Looking forward to pics, good luck on the helmet!

Well he hasn't replied to mine yet. I can only hope he's hard at work on these things, heh. I'm not even finished setting the suit up, but at this rate I will be by the time the helmet shows up.

Looks awesome so far. I can't wait to get to work on mine. How fast did the Trooperbay decals take to arrive? I'm probably going to order them as well. Also, What kind of padding are you going to do?
-
Good to see you found it Terry! Armor is moving along smoothly. If the helmet were to arrive faster I might even make it to that mysterious event on the 25th, But I doubt that will happen. Now, an issue I'm having is that I don't want to order a TD greeblie, and since I'm not going to be shooting for lancer right off the bat, what can I do to make one? The boundaries are two small pieces, one rectangular and the other circular, right?
