Hello! I am looking to get my first set of armor! I would love to get a Patrol Trooper ensemble and I’ve only seen them on Etsy by a vendor known as the armory shop. Is this a reliable source to get started? I’m not very handy

I have been a fan of Star Wars ever since I was a kid. I would always dress and play with my toys for hours on end. I always wanted to join the 501st since I first heard about them and the Biker Scout was always my first choice. I work as a firefighter paramedic and thought i could continue to give back to the community outside of work through this association. I just have no clue where to start or how to even work on the get up. Where did you guys begin? What can i do to start up this adventure?

Hey! I am a newbie that is looking to start making my biker scout costume. I am looking to start with a helmet first and I have been doing my research. I do not know where to buy KS helmets other than ebay or amazon. I cannot find a store option anywhere on their site. I also wouldnt mind buying a rubies helmet and doing all of the modifications to make it look good but the prices I find on them are 80.00+ and i've read on these forums that people get them cheaper. Any suggestions on where to find a cheap rubies helm? Or how to get my hands on a KS without buying it on ebay? OR if there are any other helmets out there that are good.
