  1. Here are some other photos fellas please let me know what you guys think Now if my vest is too long is line A or line B more appropriate As for the boxes those are an easy fix. Can someone show me how the belt needs to be put on my costume I am having a hard time understanding where it needs to overlap the cumberbund. Anyway thank again for all the help.
  2. Thanks you all for the kind words. I definitely agree my cummerbund will need to be fixed. The straps for the thigh boxes are an easy adjustment as are the shoulder pauldrons (how far from the chest armor the CRL is hard to judge). As for the Cummerbund I need to know how much higher/lower it needs to go?
  3. Hey guys, I just submitted my photos for the 501st and they recommended a few things like the cummerbund needs to be higher, the vest sleeves need to be shorter and the biceps need to be pulled up a little tighter. Please if you guys can look over what I have and lend some guidance that would be great. Thanks.
  4. Centuri, Did you find the paint shop to be pretty reasonable in price. I have an MLC helmet and am trying to figure out whether I paint it or just pay for a professional to do it???
  5. Does anyone have a good idea on what these were made out of. I was considering doing a microsuede for the arms and a cotton blend fabric for the torso portion. Any help and ideas would be greatly appreciated since this is one of the last things to complete for my costume. E
  6. OK so before I go any further can someone show me how the hip boxes are supposed to lie on the suit??? I would rather measure twice and cut once but it seems like there is not a standard way they should fall coming off the belt??? Any pictures would be great
  7. Hello Everyone I had a quick question about the racing suit from Speedway motors the leg and arm cuffs came in white you guys altering them ie dying black or leaving them alone since they will be covered by the boots and the gloves??? E
  8. Hey guys I have a question about the build etc, are you needing to trim any of the armor itself or does it fit pretty well as is? I actually am curious only because I am going with this kit too and am seeing what may need to be done when it arrives. E
  9. Ok so no pockets.... Mandarin Collar??? Sorry I may be stealing this thread.
  10. I have a quick question, Which one is lending itself to be the most accurate The race suit? The Flight suit? Coveralls? From reading most of the links it sounds like the racing suit is the most accurate??? with little if any modification.
  11. Good info fellas, I appreciate it. I have heard great things about MC but the wait time is super duper long.... How long were you guys waiting for yours and can you tell me what you got in the kit cumberbund? undersuit?
  12. Did it come with a helmet???
  13. Hi, Everyone I have been around for a bit and have just finished a TD, although I think I need some alterations to be 501st accepted. I really loved the build and the outcome and now am looking into some other challenges etc to practice with. The TB looks fun but challenging but it looks alot more comfortable than a TD or TK so I thought I may try and tackle one. My first question in my investigation is what armor is the thickest.... I have worked with ABS .093 and it is pretty sturdy stuff, however I am pretty sure an MC scout that I talked to had some pretty thick armor almost a quater inch thick, any help or direction would be great- Salud Ecoli
