  1. I nearly fell out of my seat when I saw this posted on the RPF and then proceeded to pummel my friend Turo who knew about this since May for not telling me. LOL Looks like I'll be saving up my money too for it! The only real problem will be (in my opinion) is actually being quick enough to buy one when they go on sale. Those Vader helmets if you remember sold out in under 4 minutes! I hope it's not going to be like the Legend and LE versions and that they just do one helmet. All the detail parts will be replicas on the helmets, or at least so I'm told. And I echo these sentiments—it's about time!
  2. I might have a source who works at 3M for these . . . I'm checking into it now.
  3. Simply amazing work! Count me in if you do a run.
  4. It's about time someone did this! LOL The helmet looks fantastic!!!
  5. Shhhh. You'll blow my cover. If you're headed to Acme this weekend, I'll be there working on my TK helmet and adding some fans to my Vader mask for the July 4th parade this year. It's gonna be a hot one! The holster is coming out really well, and I'm looking forward to see how the armor and back tank turn out, which I'm sure will look absolutely fantastic given with what you've accomplished so far on this costume. You almost have enough material to write a book!
  6. Oooooo . . . wood. I always enjoy seeing your progress on this costume, even though I rarely come on BSN anymore! Excellent work as always my friend!
  7. John, if you can make the helmet fit Turo, then it should fit anyone.
  8. Woooooo. Those turned out absolutely fantastic, FK! Wow. . . . And hey, look at that . . . you posted at 5:01 . . . good for you!
  9. And here I thought you were going to cut individual pieces and then glue it together . . . silly me . . . I should know you better by now. . . . So, how did you glue all those . . .
