  1. Hey Buddy i would have to agree the cammo pattern is very busy the paint looks very thick in places so much so it looks lumpy and raised its a good starting point for getting used to various cammo patterns Personally i would use a sponge dipped in to the colour and then dabbed on to the bucket this will give u uneaven shapes and you can put them where you want dont forget not all KT cammo patterns will be the same if it helps practise on some paper first and get a style you like then apply that style to the bucket Hope that helps
  2. Looking forward to the build pics ;-)
  3. What's the undersuit for mate a TB or CB ????
  4. Nice job Trooper ;-)
  5. Congrats mate !!!
  6. Hi mate for the bucket use Halfords Appliance white and the grey parts you need to use Humbrol No# 5
  7. You clones aren't short ur still growing !!!!! ;-) Ski what I did with my cod was to attach it to the inside of the bund and then sew a peice of velcrow on the trousers (on the bit of material that covers they fly zipper) works a treat mate and then u know it's alway in the middle when u put it on !!
  8. That's cool mate ;-) reason I asked about height was ur armour looks really big and bulky the groin armour and drop boxes are hanging down very low I couldn't understand why u done it like that but height has alot to do with it I'm 6'1 and with all the kit on probably stand about 6'3 ish o I had to kinda stretch my pouches out a bit to make it all fit with out it look out of proportion !!!! :-)
  9. Looks great mate couple of things i would change tho ...... Loose the button on the back of your waist band of your trousers mate ;-) and the flaps of the back pockets as you dont need them on there. as for the black stripe on the tank im pretty sure they dont have one ?? just out of intrest mate how tall are you????? Cheers Dan
  10. Great News least i wont be the only KT in the village !!!!
  11. Starting to take shape nicely Buddy looking at you leg pouches they seem a little large ? reason i say this is when you put the bund on the drop boxes should hand down between the belt and the leg pouches at the moment i would guess that the drop boxes would hang over the top off the leg pouches with there current size and placement on your shirt i personally would remove the rank tab on the front as your not gonna need it and the breast pockets the shirt itsself needs to be as plain as possible what i did on mine regarding the stitching being a different colour to the shirt was to colour it in using a brown felt tip pen to blend it all together Hope this helps Cheers Dan
  12. Depends on who your armour is made by mate ???? each maker differes in size can you post up a picture so we can get a better look ?
  13. Roger that mate
  14. Hey Skip that be me your on about buddy !!!! i think for the greater good for all the KT's and future builds of the costume it would be wise to say if you think things are wrong with mine then say mate this way we will all be working to the same goal xx dont forget mate i stuck my neck on the line with the UKG when you wasnt cleared i fought your corner dude and copped some flack on your behalf and id do it again for any one of the UKG guys to help with there clearance dont keep it in bud its for the benifit of all of us
