  1. This is great and exciting news! Thanks for the video explaining everything. Well done! Scouts lead the way!
  2. I got mine from MLC and love it. I like that it has a little bit of heft but I don't think its hateful at all. It's padded with Wendy Zap pads. I don't remember waiting too long for my bucket. It looks like spookymufu got his pretty quick, considering it came from the Philippines (if memory serves correctly). MC makes great products but you have to wait for that quality to arrive (if you have the time they are worth it). I don't know if the same goes for the MLC helmets he sells.
  3. It is a tad to the side, mostly covered by the grey pipe.
  4. Last night I did what the SC folks showed with Zip Ties. Seems ok. http://www.studiocreations.com/howto/biker...oughzipties.jpg
  5. Actually, this is the Tru-spec I got http://www.chiefsupply.com/3875-Tru-Spec-2...l-Jumpsuit.aspx I liked its Mandarin Collar.
  6. I was wondering if anyone else did a tru-spec. Thats what I ended up getting and have been happy with it.
  7. Maybe the socks could have been the issue? I know when running or walking a lot, despite good shoes if I don't have good socks they can bunch into a certain area and create a "hot spot".
  8. John, Mike...you have given me inspiration to forge ahead! Wish I had thought about the plastic weld before I commenced with rivetting...oh well, there's always next time. Has anyone had any issues with their rivet gun not fully cutting off the rivet end? I have tried with two different guns and have gotten the same result. This makes me think its me at fault here, not the equipment.
  9. Hi Mike! I've been working on a SC belt too. This is my first time doing this as well and am so nervous about screwing it up. I have some model building skills but as far as costuming skills with rivets and stitching I am a complete novice. Any reference pics you have on how your doing the connectors/clips and hip boxes would be great Thanks for sharing what you have done so far and I look forward to seeing more. -Jason
