It just occurred to me that you may not have access to the Legion Boards........ I think Jim also sells these on eBay.... do an ebay search for "Aker Voice" The seller..... Txbadger72 is the same guy I bought mine from although, I got mine off the Legion board.....all this assumes that Jim has not had his identity hijacked on eBay. The seller has 100% positive feedback. He is good guy to deal with and has probably sold a five hundred of these to troopers all over. HTH, J.

I use an Aker voice amp from Jim over in the Lone Star Garrison. They are available on the Legion Boards. The amp fits in a pouch the wire runs under your chest armor up to the mic. No static burst...no distortion. That is most canon. It is must for an active trooper...without it, you end up yelling a lot and it is much harder to interact with the public at troops. There are several models, mine was the 10 amp version and it it plenty loud. It is in the $50.00 range. J.

Rich, all I can speak from is my experience in armor builds. I have built my TB, a TK, partially finished a TI bucket....... I have MC armor....his instructions were clear, and when added to what is floating around on this forum, made for an easier build. I would strongly recommended this kit. My 2 cents.... J.

Way to go Amanda! Sorry...I just HAVE to........ AWWWWWW How CUUUUUTE! J.
-
Got mine from MC as well..........

Same thing JediJennie said........ also.....use a lot of pins. When you bunch the leg up to get it over the machine table, the suede and fabric tends to shift.

My batting goes all the way around, and in the cod piece, although, I did not use quite as much in the cod. I attached my pouches to my bund using a velcro sandwich.... The back view here shows the velcro that attaches to the black velcro on my vest This side shot shows how the pouch flap flips over the top of the bund...this gives it an extra measure of support and is attached to the BACK of the bund with velcro.......this sandwiches the pouch flap between the bund and the vest, via two sets of velcro.

The end of my vest sleeve tucks just under the top of my bicep armor.....

USe automotive pinstripe tape from the local auto supply store. pick one that looks like the right size. If all they have is double pinstripe, use that, but cut off the extra stripe prior to applying.

Lens and Helmet Mount Questions (MLC v3)
BlackDOG replied to Wickedfluxx's topic in ROTJ Biker Scout Armor/Helmet
Sorry I lost the handle on this thread.... I took a pic of my bucket and forgot to post it. Here it is: my lens is #3 welders face shield, cut and glued in place..... -
I have fifty pieces of velcro snarled up in a know inside my armor build box.......so I cut off a small circle of fuzzy, black velcro, and glued it to the "button" on the grip of my blaster. It is the same size as the diameter of the "button". I then glued a piece of white hook side velcro to the inside of the holster. It stays put. I will probably be going to magnets when the velcro eventually pulls off.

Just for example....I only have 5 stripes on my tank. I wanted it to be a little different, and I did not like the look of two or three.....
