I just finished my build. Same kit. I ended up buying some plastic from plastruct.com. with the extra plastic you create a extension piece. The extra back piece goes right in the middle to hide the seam.

One of my distributors stated that they have a Montana black beige available. Same paint code. 8020 as the gold can just in a high pressure can. Colors look identical. Just a heads up SC, mine too had the same issue, but after watching this thread develop into a hurricane, i now know what to do. :-) . Armor looks great though, I didnt event notice flaw until this popped up.

Like he pointed out, if I am breaking rules, slap me upside the head. Il going to edit them in the mean time. I just want to make sure I am getting the best deal for my uniform, i take all criticism constructively. I thank you for taking the time to look at it though, its only from your guys information do I learn. From what I can tell Im just going to suck it up, and go with whats known to be good with KS for now.

Google me this.. Found him on Ebay, goes by the name s.............s (PM for Link). He has a link to his website in the auction posted. seems to have a nice postive feedback about his helmets. Still debating on which brand to go for, ive got my eyes set on KS, but this guys a little cheaper, and yes I know you get what you pay for, but I cant see to many differences.. Thats where your seasoned eyes come in. Thanks in advance on a quick side by side with KS i notice that the dark spot of the ears are significantly smaller, at least in the website photo.. ebay doesnt look as small..

There are several sets of sealed army ach pads on the bay. some buy it nows at 20-30 bucks. I have used these personally in the army, and they are great. At least in comparison to the old school liners. I would highly recommend them, removable, customizable for each persons noggin (velcro holds these in place) , washable, and moreover comfortable. my 2 cents
