Nate I know that Tony Velda managed to win one of Mike's (pghfett) original sets of armour in an auction to help a fellow trooper out on here.But when I spoke to him back in November he hadn't started it yet.Other then him the only other person to show any interest , that I know of, is your good self mate. . But there's got to be more guys out there who love this brilliant costume.

Dave The trouble is you’ve openly admitted to supporting a re-caster, and the most notorious one at that, so this inevitably throws doubt over what you present as your own work. I’m sorry, but condoning what SFP does and stands for is not right, plain and simple. I’m sorry if this offends you but I can’t help but think of the offence caused to all the talented artists whose work as been stolen by people such as this.

Denman Sorry to say this, and there is probably no nice way to say it but That helmet is a poor re-cast of Mike's (pghfett) helmet and was one of the main contributing factors of him stopping producing his magnificent props. Its tainted goods, and no one will or should touch ANY SF with a barge pole. I know you paid good money for it, But if it was me I'd smash the granny out of it or burn it. Please don't think this is a personal attack on you, I just think that you have to draw a line in the sand and stick by your own moral judgement and mine will ALWAYS be on the side of the talented artist who created the object John Please forgive me for bringing up this subject, I know its the last thing that you want in this post celebrating your new creation, but I felt that I just had to say something.

I really don't like the generic TC designation for this I'd love to see it as KS - Kashyyyk Scout or better still KT - Kashyyyk Trooper but I can't see that happening and I bet it just gets lumped into the TC bracket

I prefer 'Trooper' , I think its more in keeping with the persona of the character and the costume 'Kashyyyk Trooper' also as a nice ring to it

Denman I really like that You're right about darken it down maybe with some gray so the camo just shows through. I 'm in the same boat as you, I may have an helmet on it's way to me but I really don't know what I'm going to do about the body armour.As anyone any news about other suppliers yet?
