Thanks for the response. So if I purchase Witness lancer quality boots I will be accepted, as every thing else is acceptable correct?

Lancer Review Panel, I would like to know if you require anything other than the boots to be modified for my costume to be granted Lancer status. If the boots are all that is needed, I will purchase a pair of custom made boots from Witness. I'd like to know this up-front, to save me from frustration of - great boots, but now fix this... that I've seen in other threads. Thanks.

I've worked on improving one of my boots so that the sides are less wrinkled, reinforced the inside for a stiffer look over-all and made them less wide at the calf. I would like to know if I re-worked the other boot to look like this if they would be acceptable for Lancer.

LOL Anyway back on topic, I did what other scouts do with velcro. I put little bits of black hook velcro where my blaster touches the holster. Then I put corresponding white loop velcro on the holster. No one notices it and it keeps it in place while moving. Since I started trooping the velcro has come of parts and I just took most of it off now because my blaster stays in place. My blaster only fell out once when I got up at an awkward angle and someone ran over and gave it to me. I'll think about replacing the velcro - my hyperfirm blaster was expensive and I'd rather not replace it.

I have two pairs of Kenneth Coles on their way to me. I am seeing if there is any interest and if so I'll put them for sale once I receive them. Thanks - I've passed along all your comments to it's creator. I'm glad I had it commissioned for me. I've also asked him if he would post how it was made and he said he will be posting on the 501st legion boards with progress he's making on the 4 he's currently building.
