Don't get discouraged! You're probably being too harsh on yourself. I'd step back, do something else for awhile, and come back to this one after. This is a hobby, it's about fun. You got this.

Hey Daniel! I can tell you the things that will hold you up for approval will be: the black tab on the bund, the stripes on the boots, and the fact your TD is backwards. All the other suggestions are more what will make you look perfect instead of just awesome. I'd start with those fixes. They'll be pretty easy to do though Either way, great build.

Amem. I just have a standard red kap suit. The most I've done to it is hem the legs so I wasn't walking on them and hem the sleeve. You don't need anything special or different from the guys.

I used a zip tie and did what Rob did.

Riding Patch - The bane of my existence! >.<

I sewed mine as two pieces, one per leg. The bund elastic covers the gap. I found trying to do it as one piece was impossible, but two pieces was fairly easy. I got a pattern somewhere on BSN I think. -
Hi Jennifer! I'll be honest, I think the scout is one of the best costumes for women, our curves aren't a fit issue unlike with a TK. I'm also short (5'5) plump and have Ds. In the Girl Scouts photo (join our FB group! https://www.facebook.com/groups/GirlScoutTroopers/), I'm the one with the beret and glasses kneeling at the bottom. I've found the only difference for me vs the guys is the chest piece pushes out slightly. Somewhere on this board from 5 yrs ago was me being worried that my boob wasn't fully covered by the armor, but it's a non issue once you have the vest and suit on! For armor, I have the MC armor and I love it. Fit is fantastic. SC is also pretty good for us shorter scouts!

Certain color of gray for the snout piece?

Yeah, I painted the visor bolts the same as the snout. -

I used primer and I think it looks fine. -
Reverse Angle of Leia/Scout encounter

the seam on the outer edge of the pouch looks like it's to help the pouch keep a more rigid structure. Basically, once sewn inside out they turned it right-side out and sewed it again. -
I just saw a thread for boots sold in the US, but I know of people who've made their own. I am short scout - 5'5

Mine is sewn in (sandwiched as you say). I just used the sewing machine,

Hey guys! I'm rather short and stout (like a little tea pot?) with a fairly well endowed chest. My issue is that I can't get the chest armour to meet properly. It runs into...a few obsticles and I either have to have it higher then it should be, or the pieces don't meet at the top. I thought of maybe making an extension piece to "bridge the gap", or take it to a heat gun and bend the pieces (which I don't think will really work because it then changes the shape of the armour!) I really can't be the only person to face the challenge and I look forward to hearing any and all suggestions! cheers!

Don't feel bad, I order my customed jumpsuit 6 months ago and still haven't seen it!
