  1. It must be all about the weight of the gun, because I too have never had a problem with the boot sagging, but I have an all foam, light weight blaster.
  2. The welders shield lens material I have hot glued into my helmet is sooooo dark that I am very hesitant to wear my costume to a parade coming up that takes place outdoors, at night, that we have to walk (no float to stand on). I know that I won't be able to see a thing. I was thinking it would be nice to have a lighter shade of lens material that I could swap out for troops like this. Can anyone think of a creative way that this would work? I don't really want to have two different helmets just so I can have different shades of lenses.
  3. Well, I tried using magnets on my foam blaster, only to find that there is no metal in it at all, but rather plastic, so I guess I won't be securing it in with magnets. You mentioned that your strap closes with a push-snap, do you un-snap the strap every time you put the gun in, or do you just pull the elastic around the gun? I'm going to use this method on my holster, but am just wondering if the snap is necessary or not, otherwise I'll just rivet in both ends of the elastic.
  4. Those turned out great! As far as the black sharpie line goes, they sell white paint markers, maybe go over the black lines with that to turn the black to white.
  5. Can anyone recommend the best magnet for the job?
  6. Wow, these are both really good ideas!
  7. If I put my blaster in my holster, as soon as I start walking around it falls right out. Has anyone come up with a solution for this? Perhaps an additional clip inside the holster for the blaster to lock into somehow? I've thought about having velcro in the holster but that would mean that there would also need to be velcro on the blaster itself which wouldn't look very good in photos. All I know is that it stinks having to hold the blaster the whole time. It would be nice to fit the blaster in the holster and have it stay in, and also know that I don't have to worry about kids walking up and swiping it out of the holster quickly.
