Most flight suits or overall's have a 2 piece zipper so it makes going to the bathroom not a problem.

Is there a way you can have the T-Bits as 2 printed pieces instead of 1? I know for those who want Lancer status will probably want them in two pieces as it seems the flat square piece is supposed to sit higher than the Tie bit.

Keep in mind that the ILM FX department probably was not concerned about being uniform on how things underneath the costume was constructed, as long as it looked uniform on screen. There are some screen grabs showing a Scout using a neck seal used by Stormtroopers. So, to the FX department, as long as there was no skin showing they used whatever they had to to keep the look similar (black, no skin showing) and functional for the actors using the props.

Where are you having trouble? Is it because the helmet is too narrow and the arms of your glasses get in the way or is it because the front lens is too close to wear glasses?
-
Nexous, others can correct me if I am wrong but if you plan on redoing your boots. Make sure that the closure is in the middle of the back, not off to the side. Both pieces should meet in the middle.
-
If you plan on using the suspenders, I would recommend not using ones that cross in the back or that have a bridge in the back that connects the two as it tends to pull them inward and shows (as evident in your photo) If you get the individual black suspenders or remove the piece that connects the two, then it would be easier to keep them hidden. I have heard of some who have sewn or somehow attached suspenders to their flak vest to keep them in place.

Outer Banks Biker Pre Clearance rasman06

For the knee armor, I found that sticky velcro on the underside of the upper part of the knee armor and sewing the other side onto your flight suit does wonders and I dont need to have the elastic bands super tight to keep them in place. Ill take pics to show you what I mean. -
Very nice bucket! Have to someone find a way to convince the wife to let me get a new bucket

Reverse Angle of Leia/Scout encounter
Katscan replied to BikerScout007's topic in ROTJ Biker Scout HQ
The chin-cup may still be there just the angle of the helmet might be covering it as evident that you cant see a chin at all. You can clearly see his neck and the angle he is looking, you shouldn't see his chin. Awesome picture btw. -
If anyone has recieved one of these I would like to know how it fits. My flak vest is still in good working order, but the sleeves are starting to show signs of wear.

Looking good! I honestly would not have thought to use hot water to formfit my armor better. Learning something new everyday!
-
Ahh so the pictures on their site do not do it justice I take it? The pictures alone make it look like it would be hot and not allow much airflow, I do hope my original thoughts were wrong. Cant wait to hear your thoughts!

I would highly discourage anyone from using magnets for the TD. It bounces around too much and would constantly fall off, even with the use of RE magnets. Not to mention if you bump into anything youd have to check to make sure your TD didnt fall off. Stick with the clips

Yea, let me know how you like it. I just have some left over pads from my old skate helmet. Tho those condor pads look like a great replacement!
