I was figuring on using Clarino. Its what is used in the same area on riding pants. Its a synthetic microfiber suede that IS washable and avaialble in almost any color. Check out:

I just can't find a supplier.
I was thinking along the lines of Clarino for the inner thigh pieces. Its the synthetic leather found on motorcycle glove palms and riding pant knee and butt patches. It comes in tons of colors but I have not been able to find a distributor.

Is anyone in agreeance that there are only three (3) colors on the pants (of course depending on screen shot versus display). Screen shot should be dark brown, greyish tan, and possibly a hint of olive? There may not even bee a third color.
In light of a one pice glove, the military/law enforcement markets forearm protectors see link of roit gauntlets:

It would be possible that was the basis of design for the gloves or else utilizing a two (2) piece system of glove and frearm protector as this link:

Any thoughts?
I was planning a similar concept. I would vacuum form the entire shin and leave the sides extended, then basically follow the same concept with a heat gun and form the back together.
THought I'd throw my 2 cents in. Was thinking the the pants should be a darker variation on desert BDU's with more brown than usual but when the CGI darkens everything for affect, the brown was mostly lost looking gray and dark gray (almost black). To get a more screen used look I was thinking of digital Urban camo like these (scroll down to digital urban):

It would add a nice contrast to the armoras depicted in the screen grabs.
