  1. Just another question for fixing a KS bucket - does anyone have a measurement for the thickness of the base-plate for the snout? The KS seems to just have a recess and a vinyl stiker behind the mic-piece. Looks like the originals should have a raised plate behind it... I'm going to source a small sheet of plastic to stick in behind, so width and height are ok, just no idea what a good thickness should be! Cheers! Update: I've gone for a 3mm thickness - seems to fit the snout recess fairly well!
  2. Thanks, Chef! Ah, I didn't think about painting the whole thing after filling - I think that's the route I'll have to go down... Looks like I've got a nice project ahead of me Cheers for the advice!
  3. Hi everyone, I've just decided to go back to my trusty old armour and make it a little more screen-accurate so it can come out of storage and go on display My KS bucket still had the small gap/seam between the dome and the sides/hood, being of two-part construction. Does anyone have any advice on what to fill this with, how to smooth it so it appears as seamless as possible with the plastic and what to paint it with if I have to (various putty's I've looked at seem to be pinkish)? Many thanks!! Steve edit: forgot to add - smoothing out any gap fixing, would that also work for polishing out any scuffs? thanks again!!
