Well I like star wars of course. I finished my scout trooper armor just in time for Celebration 4 and began my adventures. I went to that and had a blast, got tons of pictures. I also love playing piano and enjoying some good gaming! 501st proud!

And you can trust sc as well
-
Yes you can trust ks for a good helmet sir.
-
Looks great! Wanna make me one? Haha
-
I have that stuff for my TK. I've tried it on the scout and it doesn't do anything lol...

I am curious on how to restore some old shine back to my armor as it is losing its shine due to being very old and weathered. Is clear spray paint a good way to get some shine back?
-
The gray rectangle is there just hard to make out in the picture because of the light. These boots do not use my holster, my other pair do though.

Was looking around for pictures and found this one. I think this was one of the last times I had trooped back in 2012...lol long time ago. This was at Legoland Star Wars Days in California. I was posing here for my ex-girlfriend lol. What do you guys think of the armor?
-
Yeah dude the MLC is nice. Only thing that stopped me from getting it was the weight...lol. I went with the KS since it is LIGHT AS HECK, and just modded it so it looks real nice like. I would like to get a Lonewolf like the rest of the Pathfinder community haha but that day still has not come. Anyways, get what you think is going to be the most practical for you. Keep weight in mind if you plan to do alot of long troops, if not go MLC all the way. For me modding the KS was no problem since my first bucket was a PoS Rubies bucket that required a TON of mods. Mhm.

It looks like it is right about 2". Don't quote me on it though. I would like to know an exact answer as well since I am in the process of making a new TB.
-
Np man. Yeah when I weathered my weapons I used a sock with sprays to get it how I wanted. When it came to armor though I used acrylics, water, and a fiberless towel.
-
silver, grey, and black acrylics most likely, possibly even sprays rubbed on with a sock.

Oh the resin blasters lol. I am retiring mine with my current TB as it is just very fragile and pretty heavy in the boot while walking around, especially up stairs. Make sure you really secure that thing down because if it pops out for any reason or just goes flying something will more than likely crack, break, or chip off. I will highly recommend getting a hyperfirm one to anybody that is very mobile, gets down on their knees a lot, or frequent the blaster poses. I know for sure the hyperfirm version is what I will be using with my new TB. But nonetheless, your blaster came out really nicely mate Now, just be careful with it because it is the equivalent to a glass bottle

I use the Recon CS-6 too for my carbine. All I did was add a different scope and change up the bottom mount under the barrel. Then I painted it black, painted the grip and stock wood, and just added silver and grey weathering. It is perfect because you can shoot darts and everybody.
