Simple Mod to get you a CB boot

I used E6000 in the UK. Its almost the same stuff as GOOP in US. The glue takes a full 24 hours to cure. But after abt 4-6hrs, its still malleable and shapable.

 

I found a nice generic donor boot and outlined the enhanced arch.

 

 

I squidded some of the glue out on a plate and left it to cure for 4-6 hrs, so it was still sticky, but not runny any more. then I applied the glue to this area, and shaped it as in the pic below. Full 24 hrs cure later, the glue is very adherent and takes paint well.
