Smiling Fox
That was my first piece. Then the boots. Congratulations, there is no going back now.

I'm waiting on my Altmann right now, and have a blaster making its way here, so defintely no going back now!
kayelbe
Seems that's the common order: Gloves, Blaster, Altmann's, SC armor here....
Forest Ranger
So, for an update, my blaster from trooperbay was out for delivery today, but somehow (USPS's fault) was undeliverable to the address. I called up TB, and spoke with the owner who did let me know they'd keep an eye out on the post office, and get me another blaster if after filing a claim on Monday does not get the one back that was in transit. This really blows, but I'm so happy with the customer service I recieved today.

Forest Ranger
I haven't updated here in a bit. I'm still waiting on my ALT bucket, should be arriving this month sometime. I just ordered boots, and I'm in the process of ordering a flak vest, as well as a cummerbund. I bought a balaclava not too long ago, so that's taken care of, and the biggest part of this build being my armor, has yet to be ordered through SC, but I plan on it by the end of the month so I can start modifying it throughout April. The flight suit is going to be ordered in April too. So there's that. I'll post pictures once I start getting stuff in the mail.
Forest Ranger
Not sure I've mentioned it on here, but here's a little touch of my personal life, and what I do besides costuming. I currently am not playing in a band, but I loved my time with these guys. Maybe I can find a band to play on stage in my scout with someday soon.

Scavenger
Very well done video too. Not sure how it is in Dallas but in Louisville drummers are in short supply for starting new bands.

Thanks Jonas, appreciate it. That video was done back in December. Dallas tends to thrive with musicians, just not too many that know how to get along, or commit (that was our issue internally), but I'm done with the metal scene as far as playing. I was thinking of doing more of a neo New Wave/Post Punk band, or just starting a cover band.
Scavenger
Ever the struggle...getting it out or getting paid. Only the lucky dedicated get to do both.

Retrofire
Sweet! That's the exact set I'm using to mod my Altmann's too. DVH does great work.

Did your snout have lines in it, and some rough areas from the casting? I think I might have to sand, and repaint to clean it up.

No it really didn't. I must have got a really clean one. Do you have any pics? Why don't you ping DVH and let him know. He's real particular about his pieces. Retrofire
I totally understand I'm really finicky about my armor too. I think it's taken me three days just to do my TD . Can't image how long it'll take me to work my front and back armor. Won't go wrong with the SC though it's a really nice kit and Jeff has been keeping it updated with all the feedback from BSN. Yeah, I'm going with SC as well. I'll be ordering on the 25th (payday!) Glad there's return on more armor pieces too. I might save this snout as an extra now that I think about it, can't ever have too many extras lying around.
