  1. Wow... It's so sad. My condolences to his family and friends. So young... buckets off.
  2. You might also consider adding some spot putty to that bit. There's only so much material in the printed part so adding a bit to help round it out might make it easier on ya.
  3. Might also be worth checking if the belting comes in various widths. Either way, this is an interesting rabbit hole to go down.
  4. I wonder if they're some other light-duty belt? Automotive belts are usually pretty well reinforced and difficult to cut, where something more light-duty might be easier to use?
  5. Interesting. I'd definitely want to know more about this. How did you come across this find?
  6. Great start so far! Welcome to the forum! Best place to check for the blaster is in the armoury weapons area. Several options available, depending on what you're looking for. Good luck and have fun with your build!
  7. I usually wear a 7 3/4 hat (head circumference of 24").
  8. Just to add to this... the helmet here is a really nice helmet, BUT, it's sized for heads that are Medium to Large. I usually wear an XL helmet and when I got this, I had to grind out some of the resin in the nose area just to get it on. If it was 5% larger (or close to that) it would fit a wider range of heads. So, a very nice helmet for sure, but not for larger heads. I know I'll be looking for an alternative to print once I finish rebuilding my scout (hopefully this year).
  9. Congrats on the achievement, Micah!
  10. Nice set of files! Very generous to allow us access, thanks!
  11. No problemo, Chris. Take your time and get it right. I'm also still working through my RS helmet build.
  12. Hi Justin, You don't have to have the teeth out. Just looked at a few Lancer approvals and none did. I know the CRL reference has it but I don't think we're being that picky.
  13. Such a beautiful E-22. Thanks for the news!
  14. To add, for the front part of the riding patch, you want the outer edge of it just shy of center on your thigh. So, imagine a line going down the front of your thigh, right down the center, and you want the edge to be about an inch or two inside. Looks like you're coming along well! And yeah, you don't need a lot showing on the back edge.
  15. Scott (KS) is a decent guy and he'll do right by you. This is the first I've seen or heard about this kind of defect, and while it could be filled, sanded and repainted, at least he's willing to refund you.
